Chaplain Bob Murphy has served in emergency services for over 40 years as a dispatcher, EMT, paramedic, firefighter, flight nurse and now chaplain. Murphy is currently the chaplain for the Pensacola Fire Department and an assistant chaplain serving all Santa Rosa County fire departments. In addition, he is an elected fire commissioner for the Midway Fire District.

Murphy is a registered nurse, attorney and Florida Supreme Court certified mediator for circuit, family, appellate and county courts. He is the chief of medical missions for M-4 Institute, who’s mission is to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to enhance the lives of the needy and alleviate poverty around the globe by creating short and long-term mission opportunities for those that love to serve. Murphy is an ordained minister and has earned a master’s degree in divinity.

Bob is an executive coach and speaker who has presented around the world to hundreds of thousands of leaders on high reliability, performance excellence and many other leadership topics. Murphy has also been president of a large multi-specialty physician practice with 350 physicians across the Gulf Coast and a senior vice president and administrator of Baptist Hospital.
